A couple users have asked why pipl.ai reports issues with their SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, while other tools indicate everything is set up correctly.

The key difference with pipl.ai is that we don't just verify the presence and syntax of these records in DNS; we actually send a test email and examine the headers. This method confirms not only the existence of these records but also their correct implementation and functionality. For example, an SPF record might technically exist but fail to include the IP address of the actual sending server, or a DKIM record might be present but not properly signing emails. These are issues that can only be identified by analyzing a real email, ensuring the accuracy of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.

There is actually a real cost for us to do this instead of purely checking the DNS record like other tools. But it's all worth it because this approach is crucial for achieving high email deliverability and ensuring the success of your cold email campaigns.
